Proofs - the good, bad and ugly. Proofs may sometimes start out bad and ugly, but the good news is that with a little bit of editing many photos actually turn out great! The example below was taken from the choir balcony in the back of the church when flash photography was not permitted. So I had to rely on only the available light which was mostly centered on the alter and cross. I used a tripod, a large aperture, and an incandescent white balance setting but it still came out ugly. However, after a few minutes of editing and it was fixed... So remember, when looking at proofs, the good news is, they can often be salvaged!
