Scenic Photos. These are some scenic shots I took around DC and NY recently. The picture of the Tribute in Light in NY was taken in mid March shortly after they were first turned on. The photo of the Jefferson Memorial with the Cherry Blossom Tree hanging over it was touched up to remove the paddle boats from the water. The picture of the Lincoln Memorial/Washington Monument/US Capitol was taken from over by the Iwo Jima memorial in VA. For those curious, yes, a lamppost, crane and numerous cars and pedestrians had to be edited out. The green of the trees was enhanced since they were not that pretty yet in early March and since the weather was not very cooperative that day, I had to wipe and replace the sky with a nice clear one. The other images are essentially untouched.
| Size | Price |
| 8"x10" | $30 |
| 12"x18" | $50 |
| 16"x20" | $75 |
| 20"x30" | $100 |
The 8' panoramic print of the NY Skyline was taken in October 2001. It shows midtown and uptown areas with the Empire State Building on the far right side. The World Trade Center was downtown, which was over 2 miles south of where I was shooting from, and is not visible in this photo. This photo was created by digitally stitching together 11 shots and touching up the color of the water. The sky and clouds however are completely real. This panoramic is $350 and is only available as a 1x8 foot print.
