2002 Cherry Blossom Festival - Photo Albums

2002 Cherry Blossom Festival. March 31 - April 6, 2002. This is a collection of the nearly 6,500 photos from events for the Cherry Blossom Queens and Princesses at the 2002 National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC. The two week festival includes events sponsored by many organizations. The festival is put on it part by the National Conference of State Societies (NCSS). This year's 2002 festival marks the 90th celebration of the original gift of the 3,000 cherry trees by the city of Tokyo to the people of Washington, DC in 1912. This is also the 50th anniversary of the National Conference of State Societies, created by Public Law 82-293 and signed by Harry Truman on April 3, 1952. This year also marks the 54th anniversay of the Queens and Princesses program. Additional information can be found on the following sites:



Pricing Update! Effective January 1, 2003, prices for the Cherry Blossom Festival photos and composites have gone up to match regular event pricing. I raised prices for regular event photos back in September, but held off on raising them for the Cherry Blossom Festival to give people time to get their orders in.
